MINAMI laser cut necklace

MINAMI is a beautiful wood necklace with a dazzling moiré effect. Moiré is an optical illusion, created by rotating two sets of parallel lines on top of each other. We have created this pattern by laser cutting birch plywood and placing them one another. A mesmerizing illusion emerges, which instantly catches the eye of any observer.

After creating the round ENSO necklace, we were looking for a more rectangular shape to complement the SHINJUKU earrings. So MINAMI was inspired by simple, yet strong suspension bridges. Being part of the Great Seto Bridge system connecting Honshu ans Shikoku islands in Japan, Minami-Bisan Seto is the most honorable one.

As it is made of wood, the minimalist necklace is super lightweight and very comfortable to wear.
